Johanna Brown has life-long passion to help people resolve conflict, clear confusion, and manage change with dignity and respect. She is an active consultant for community and court-based mediation and regularly provides services for parenting and family disputes.

Johanna serves on mediation rosters for adoption, foster and kinship in New York State. Johanna work for a local foster care agency conducting permanency roundtables. Johanna specializes in co-parenting interventions to build wholistic parenting plans. Although her focus is more geared toward parenting and caregiving, she is a certified divorce mediator and provides one-on-one divorce coaching. Johanna is trained in elder family mediation to navigate the needs of aging loved ones.

Johanna is trained using a multi-faceted layering of services in a faith-based process. She is passionate about helping faith communities practice trauma-informed care when working with all families, especially those impacted by trauma, abuse and neglect.

She enjoys training others in peacemaking, conflict coaching, mediation and overcoming impasse. Johanna serves several non-profit organizations in collaborative networking and bridge building for the benefit of children, families, churches and the community. Johanna has helped many people build lasting solutions to resolve conflict, clear confusion and manage change with the goal of empowering people to live and work in peace.
